Help my daughter go to National American Miss

MY DONATION SITE

Hi, my name is Liliann Jones. I am 7 years old and a 2nd grader at my local elementary school. I just learned that I was chosen as a state finalist for the National American Miss pageant in my home state of Iowa. The pageant will be held the first weekend in April.

Now, I know you hear the word pageant and think Toddlers and Tiaras. But this is the exact opposite of that! This pageant focuses on community service, public speaking, formal wear (poise and posture), and my introduction speech.

There are fun things too, like photogenic contests, talent, top model and others. Feel free to read up on the Pageant and all the good it does for its participants at www.namiss.com.

In order to go to the state finals in April, I have to raise my fees myself.

As a potential sponsor, you are being asked to help Liliann participate in the program by providing a portion of the sponsor fee for her.  As a sponsor, you or your organization will be featured beside her photo in the state program book.  The sponsor fee is tax deductible for businesses as an advertising expense.  On average, Sponsors donate anywhere from $10.00 - $50.00. Every dollar is so very much appreciated.

To break everything down for you that she would like to get:
$440 is the total for the fee to enter the pageant
$50 fee per entry for talent (2 entries)
$50 fee per entry for casual wear (1 entry)
$50 fee per entry for photogenic (4 entries)
$175 fee for top modeling (this includes a professional photo shoot, in which she will be judged on how she does with the shoot, how she acts when given directions, and how well she enjoys being photographed)--it also includes a full CD of all the pictures for us to take home!

We need all the help we can get to send her to this! It is her dream and passion, and as her family, we want to give her the boost up in the world to help her in her future. Thank you!

Diva Photo Shoot

My daughter and her cousin are one week apart in age. They are both so much fun to take pictures of. In October, they were invited to a Halloween birthday party. So afterwards, we went out to Moorehead Park in Ida Grove, and did a little "diva" photo shoot. They both had so much fun!!! Here are some of the best pics of the day.

Mumm Family

In October, I took some great family pictures for my brother and his family. These were taken at Stone State Park in Sioux City where they live! They turned out fab with all the great fall colors. Excited to announce they are expecting currently, due in October, and I can't wait to take new family pictures!!!!

Facebook Fan Free Photo Shoot Winner

When I launched my Facebook page, my goal was to share my work and bring in new clients. When I reached 100 fans on my page, I decided to do a giveaway for a free photo shoot. The winner got one hour of my time, all of the images on a disc, and full printing rights of their images. I had such a great success with the participants, I decided to give away two photo shoots!!! This post is the winner of one of the shoots. This single mom and her son are friends of the family. Her son is in my daughter's class at school, he is on the same wrestling team as my son, and we actually went to the same high school together. I had a blast taking their pictures with the fresh snow on the ground. It was a bit chilly, but we got some amazing shots!!!!!!!!!!

A's Maternity Session

I was granted the honor of taking maternity photos for a family friend. I couldn't be more happy with how they turned out. They were magical, full of love and life. The little girl was born just a few short weeks later, and I can't wait to take some pictures of her soon!

B Kids

This fall, I was able to take family portraits of some pretty awesome little girls and their mom. We headed to Lake View, where there is beautiful nature to make every background full of breathtaking scenes. The lake is gorgeous, and with the fall leaves in full color changing mode, it made the pictures even better. Here are some shots from our session!

W Wedding

I had the honor of being asked to shoot my very first wedding!!! It was a simple ceremony, but the love was strong. The bride's daughter escorted her down the isle, and a couple each with their own children, became a family. Here are some photos that I took from the wedding! The above picture is the maid of honor and her daughter who did all of the candle lighting for the ceremony.

 Decorations

Even though the lighting didn't turn out how I wanted it to, this picture was so awesome because her dress showed her tattoo that she has with the groom's name. So it just shows how in love they are!

Besides doing all of the wedding photography, I also did all of the videography as well. I placed my camera at the alter, capturing the entire wedding for them. I then transferred that video into a movie format so that they could watch and remember that day forever.
